PARENTS!,.... please teach your sons/daughters!!!!

WHY did I name this the title that which it is?!?...for one, didn't think I would be blogging this morning...two, I was angry!!!...woke up this morning peacefully, and as usual...probably thinking way too much more than of things that I shouldn't be!....on with it, so I am sitting outside...drinking my coffee...and I witness a little girl, maybe 3 or 4....running and screaming...on the playground...being chased by a little boy with a stick!...I'm two floors up ya'll....so jumping over the balcony...although compelled to do so....would not be a good idea!...AND he was gaining on her...luckily her little feet were faster than his, and the stick he was carrying must have weighted him down...Him, not being more than three or four himself....this is all happening within in a matter of moments...and luckily...he gave up....I'm appaulled!...where are the parents?!?...you cannot let these little ones run around unsupervised...Man, you can't even let some ADULTS run around UNSUPERVISED!!!...ordinarilly I probably wouldn't be writing about this...but it lends weight to a conversation that I had yesterday with a dear friend...not disclosing the details....but a husband who verbally abuses, mistreats, torments and abandons his family/wife is a whole lot worse than that little boy who chased that little girl moments ago...and we're talking adult folks...MY POINT...in all of this...we need to teach these little people while they are young...how to carry themselves, treat others and live productively in this world...granted, all lessons are not going to be learned or retained...but if the seed is planted in their mind...well, maybe they'll learn to "walk a little slower, and carry a smaller stick"!....Banter is done...for now!...HOPE ALL READING THIS HAVE A STICK FREE DAY!:))

GOOD blog! We need to teach and be a good example ourselves for our sons and daughters. WE (parents /guardians) need to be the ROLE MODELS,the people our kids look up to not Charles Barkley and Snoop Dawg When I was growing up my grandmother on my mother's side was my role model. My neice and nephews role models are FAMILY MEMBERS!! who put the time in, talked to them, set a standard for them, let them know how special they are (even when we wondered WTH were they thinking)and showed them LOVE! UNCONDITIONALLY!!!!None of us are perfect but we understand how important being there is. Too many children are without guidance and attention at home and I really think it's too late to turn this around. Too many people just don't get it.
