3:19am...knowing daggone well I should be asleep....not insomnia...just too many naps taken during the day...bright-eyed and bushy tailed awake!!!...crazy...so I started thinking...with so much on my mind...just write it down...helps to focus on the important things...what really stood out for me YESTERDAY...talking to my Mom...I used to talk to her everyday...like clockwork...and now, not so much...my mistake...I love my Mom...my rock..she makes me laugh when I don't want to...or so I think...she has a way of making the gloomiest days bright....so I am up thinking about all the things that we discussed today...from my daughter's grades to the tsunami and earthquakes in Japan...one heck of a day...and I am thankful that whenever my mind wants to take me to those places where I wouldn't be as happy...she has a way of bringing me back around...just wanted to share all of this...MY MOM IS AWESOME!!!...and after all that has happened today, this week, and this year...I still have the opportunity to discuss them all with my best friend...my confidant, my motivator, my comforter...MY MOM!...NOT WAITING TIL MOTHER'S DAY THIS YEAR to remind her how much I love her and how appreciative I am of her!...I am overwhelming thankful that I can pick up the phone and call her..WE take too many things for granted these days...just GRATEFUL, she has always been in my corner!...THANK YOU LORD...THANK YOU!...I was thinking it...now it's written...now I can rest....AND GOOD MORNING!:))
